Installation steps for 2/3 wheel electric vehicle DC charging station.


The installation of DC charging stations must comply with strict technical specifications and safety standards. The following are the standard installation steps:

1、 Preliminary preparation
On site investigation
Confirm that the installation location meets the power capacity requirements (three-phase 380V power supply, capacity ≥ 21kVA), the ground is flat and has drainage conditions.
Check the surrounding environment, avoid high temperature, humidity, flammable and explosive areas, and reserve at least 1 meter of operating space.
Materials and Tools
Prepare the charging pile host, column, cable (6-square-meter copper core wire), PVC conduit, cement, screws and other materials.
Tools include Phillips screwdrivers, wire strippers, impact drills, rubber plugs, expansion screws, etc.
Qualifications and licenses

Installation personnel must hold an electrician certificate and submit an installation application to the property or community in advance to obtain written consent.

2、 Basic construction
Excavation and pouring
Excavate a 400mm deep, 450mm long, and 400mm wide pit, and embed PVC conduit (recommended to use size 120).
Mix cement, sand, and stones before pouring, and install the equipment after hardening.
Pre embedded cables
Thread a 6-square-meter copper core wire, reserve 1.4-meter length at the equipment end, and wire the other end to the distribution box with a reserved length of 25cm.
3、 Equipment installation
Fixed bracket
Mark the fixed screw holes on the device bracket, drill holes with a 10mm impact drill, and install M8 expansion screws.
Thread the wires through the middle of the bracket, secure the bracket and ensure stability.
Install host
Align the charging host with the pillar, fasten it with 4 M4 mechanism screws, and cover the rear mounting hole with a cover plate and screws.
Wiring operation
Remove the screws from the wiring cover at the bottom of the host, and connect the wires after removing the cover.
Lead out the main wires of the equipment through the column threading holes and introduce them into the main machine inlet with a 20PVC corrugated pipe.
Connect the neutral wire to the output terminal of the leakage switch, and correctly connect the ground wire to the grounding port.
Electricity supply standards
Take power from the single-phase residual current switch (rated current>40A) of the distribution box, and connect the ground wire reliably from the ground wire busbar.
4、 Debugging and acceptance
Functional testing
After confirming that all connections are secure, turn on the power switch and check if the charging station starts and displays normally.
Use specialized testing equipment or actual vehicles for charging testing and observe for any abnormal phenomena.
Security check
Check if the functions of leakage protection, overload protection, etc. are normal.
Ensure that all fasteners are securely fastened and the connectors are properly wrapped with electrical adhesive.
Acceptance and delivery
Organize installation quality reports, certificates of conformity, and other documents, and submit acceptance applications.
After passing the acceptance inspection, deliver to the user and provide usage instructions and maintenance suggestions.
5、 Post maintenance
Regular inspection
Monthly inspection of appearance, connecting wires, and fixing screws to ensure no damage, aging, or looseness.
Invite professional personnel for maintenance every year to prevent potential hazards.
Software Update
For charging stations with management systems, regular software updates should be conducted to ensure system stability and safety.
Fault handling
Once a malfunction occurs, promptly contact professional personnel for maintenance to avoid long-term inability to use.
