If users charge their electric vehicles at home, it is easy to cause fires. The issue of battery life often causes difficulties for electric bicycle owners and many electric vehicle owners. The fear of spontaneous combustion in summer and power outage in winter is a reflection of the inner feelings of car owners. Why do electric cars lose power quickly in winter? The main reasons include the following aspects:

1. Low temperature environments can affect battery performance, leading to a decrease in energy storage capacity and subsequently reducing range.

2. In winter, the temperature is low, and the electric drive system of electric vehicles requires more power to start, so operations such as acceleration, braking, and wipers will consume more electricity.
