If it is not charged for a long time, it will cause lead sulfate crystallization, sulfide the plates, and deteriorate the quality of the battery.

On the contrary, if the battery is overcharged, the amount of oxygen produced by the anode is greater than the adsorption capacity of the cathode: this increases the internal pressure of the battery, causing gas to overflow, reducing the electrolyte, and may also lead to softening or detachment of active substances, greatly shortening the battery life!!!

And most people like to continue charging their electric vehicles after they are fully charged, and then unplug them when in use. Over charging for a long time can damage the electric vehicle battery without even realizing it!!!

Overcharging of electric vehicles not only poses potential dangers, but also makes it particularly easy to damage the battery. However, a stable charging station that automatically stops when fully charged can not only solve the problem of fires caused by high overcharging temperatures, but also reduce damage to the battery, thereby extending its service life.


2. Do you charge every day or recharge after use?
Daily charging can cause aging of the lead-acid battery charger. Batteries have a certain number of charge and discharge cycles, and the same goes for chargers. If electric vehicles are charged every day, it will accelerate the aging of electronic components inside the charger. Over time, the parameters of the charger will shift, which can easily damage the battery.

If your electric vehicle travels a long distance every day and the remaining power cannot meet the driving needs of the next day, then daily charging is normal.
